COATING PAPER APPLICATION

Cost reductions in all industries are trend in the last decade, also in paper industries. Generally, to get cost reduction in the coating process, some mill paper have increased production speed and increased number or part  of coating starch added into system.

SOLSACOAT and NYLGUM T are two series of coating starch which can be used in the wide range of coating application, from low coating mix solid of air knife coater running less than 200 m/min to high coating mix solids run at Blade coater speed excess 1500 m/min (depend of series).

With our products, effect of temperature is not as critical or sensitive as with other starch modification. This starch allows moderate fluctuation in operating temperature without need to

compensate for thicker or thinner flow. Our products can be used with all common coating ingredients, and also have some benefits as below:
